Let the sun shine in!

I ran the girls out of bed about 8 and got them showered. We had ballgames starting at 10:30 and the girls wanted pancakes for breakfast.  Is there anything cuter than these two wearing Daddy's tee shirts while getting syrup in their freshly washed hair? The syrup part isn't that cute really.

Addie on her way to the morning basketball games. Woody and Jessie came along for the ride

The basketball games went great today! We really had a good time watching both girls play. It is remarkable how much the kids improve from week to week. We were REALLY proud of Ali Grace when she hit a shot from DOWNTOWN! She looked really shocked after the ball swished the net!  Everyone laughed. Ali got the Defense Award this week for sticking with her opponent who was a good foot taller than she was. There were a few girls missing and so there were no subs for the game. Ali was exhausted when it was over. Addie wasn't all that exhausted since she spent most of the time playing with her braids, giving me a thumbs up,  and posing for the camera every time she saw me pick it up.

Posing for a picture in the middle of the game!

Ali running through the cheerleaders after her name is called.

Ali Grace was so fast she was a blur!! LOL

After the game we came home and got a quick lunch. The sun really came out and started to warm things up. (Not enough for me, of course) But the girls loved the sunshine and played on the swingset out in the backyard all afternoon.  I am so thankful for this beautiful day. The girls needed some outside time SO badly! Their mama needed some inside with the kids OUTSIDE time!

Becky- I ordered it off etsy, from "daffodillies". She has very reasonable prices and does good work. I've bought lots of stuff from her.
