Despite the time change, we got up early this morning. The girls were so excited about their cousin Colten coming to visit. I got Pete to snap a shot of the three of us before everyone got filthy which is inevitable on any Sunday afternoon on the Ponderosa!
As soon as Colten arrived, the bike races began.
Colten's bike had a little extra "horsepower".
All of the grandkids stood in awe when Poppy came flying out of the garage on a bicycle! I don't know if I've ever seen him ride a bicycle before. The kids thought it was hysterical!
Yep Poppy's still got skills!

Colten loved on Sweet Bessie. She adores children.
Addie (on her 3rd wardrobe change) walked with Colten back and forth to Nanny and Poppy's house several times.
Addie and Colten picked up the eggs.
Nanny started a water war at the arena with Colten and Addie!
Addie helped Pete rig up a new fishing rod.
The weather was just gorgeous. We could not have asked for better! We had steaks for lunch and barbecued chicken for supper. I had a great afternoon sitting on the porch watching the children play and solving all the problems of the world with my sister in law, Beth. We both have it all figured out if someone would just ask us!
