The kids have had a wonderful few days in the new swimming pool. Addie says "this pool keeps getting better and better". I am so glad they have something to do outside even in this heat. It's a constant battle keeping sunscreen on the snow whites, but I love seeing them play hard and then sleep like rocks at night. This morning they went to Augusta with Pete and ran some errands which included a stop at Tutti Frutti, Ali's favorite frozen yogurt place ever. Of course when they got home, they hit the pool all afternoon.
The girls enjoyed having Colten spend the night and play in the pool.
This evening, the girls talked Poppy into getting into the pool in the only pair of shorts he owns, New Holland hat and all. They quickly got into a water cannon war and Ali Grace took it SERIOUSLY!
Summer break is winding down way too quickly. We are trying to squeeze every last minute out of it!
